We covers studies and research in the fields of sociology, methodology, politics, communication and political philosophy. The Department's research centres (Social Sciences Methodology Centre, Centre for the Study of Human Rights, Political Analysis Workshop, International Centre for Transition Studies, and Communication Research Section) have promoted and promote seminars and conferences with the participation of Italian and foreign academics from leading universities.
